End of Summer Fun

Starting off with the videos first this time:

"I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"
Anne's first day of kindergarten:

Cougar Fight Song at the annual "Meet the Players"
Another lacrosse star in the making:
Feeding the koi fish at Thanksgiving Point:
Playing music for Great Grandma and Grandpa Hebbert (My mom and Great Aunt Violet)
Finding candy in the sawdust pit, a long time Hebbert family reunion tradition.
Frozen reinactments:
ALS Ice Bucket Challenges

Our beautiful garden crops: corn, rasberries, acorn squash, pumpkins, green beans, blackberries, okra, zucchini, yellow squash, watermelon, cherry tomatoes, big tomatoes, carrots, and rhubarb.
We have no memory of planting this, nor having any of these seeds, but acorn squash came anyways!
Tomato bushes.

For "throw back thursday" on facebook I dug this photo up of Zac as a baby.  Those sure are strong Thatcher genes he passed on to Sarah.
Date night at Lavell Edwards Stadium (BYU).  They showed "Remember the Titans" on the jumbo tron.
And of course we had yummy concession treats.  We even got to sit with some of our friends from our ward.  Awesome night.
Rachel selfie.
Eating at Noodles and Company that just opened down the street. Mmmmm.
Typical morning gathering.
Hebbert family reunion.
Piano lesson from Grandma.
Mmm. Cheesecake.  It just looked too good to not take a picture.  Notice the snitching fingers ;)
Same with these, just looked good.  Homemade bread.

Zac went on a trip to Flaming Gorge with scouts from our Stake.  This is the Vernal temple.
Vernal Dinosaur museum.

On a "dam" tour :)

And of course Zac pushed one of the boys into the water.
Red Fleet Dinosaur Trackway hike.

The annual Meet the Players even at BYU.  Just as we were walking in the gate who should walk up but Rachel's favorite creature in the whole world.  She ran up and jumped into his arms.  He pretended to walk away with her and she just clung on.

Anne just walked right in and joined this picture with the cheerleaders.
Mini family reunion with Kenric's family, Mom, and Jennifer. Kenric's cool homemade tree rope swing.

Watermelon is just too messay to eat with your shirt on....
Visiting with Great Grandma and Grandpa Hebbert.

Music night Grandma and Jennifer.

Slurpee
Picture day.

I organized my sewing nitch.  Makes me happy :)

Climbing trees with our buddies.

Having a parade in our front yard.
I made some Elsa and Anna capes so that the girls stopped dragging their blankets around the house.

Back at the Hebber reunion.  Mom with some of her brothers and sisters.
Great Grandpa and Grandma Hebbert.
Great Grandpa and Grandma Hebbert.
Getting ready for the sawdust candy hunt.
Sarah's first lollipop.
She was a big fan.  She was a happy sticky mess

Playing with second cousins.
A day at the Thanksgiving Point gardens with Grandma Russell. What a beautiful place.

Fun with curlers and Grandma's camera.
The Payson temple being built.
She's ready to go.  If only she could reach the petals.
Fried zucchini and zucchini bread.
Garden fresh.
At my cousin Craig's wedding.  Sarah knocking on the temple doors, just cute.

The girls found some yummy blackberries at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

First time trying my hand at picking because we have a pluthera of cucumber and I don't know what else to do with cucumbers.
Anne's hair before Aunt Jennifer gave it a trim.
Back at the meet the players.
One of our girls' favorite activities there, the race.  They ran it over and over and over and over again, probably at least 15 times.

Fixing up the annex for Jennifer's new home.

Saying hi to kitty.

Taking apart our piano to fix some keys.

Anne after getting her first and hopefully only set of stitches.  She fell back on a chair and hit the back of her head on the corner of the treadmill.  Not a fun experience AT ALL.  But she was a brave trooper.  Afterwards she got her slurpee and was just fine.  She didn't even cry when they were taken out.  Oh...and this was also the day before she started kindergarten.
Havest.
Jennifer has Anne's classic first day of school picture on her camera so that will be on the next blog.  But here she is in her classroom on her first day with her teacher Ms. Talbot.  She had no problem saying bye and had a great day.  She struggled a couple days later so I went in and helped out and she's been just fine since. The secretaries at the school gave her a necklace and told her it was magic and helped her not cry and she has worn it every day since. So grateful for kind people.

Sarah pushing her buddy Katelyn.

Nacho time for BYU's first football game of the season.  Go Cougars!
Our only carrot from the garden.
