Grandma Russell Visits! and More Summer Fun

These two pictures forgot to be flipped, but you can see Anne showing us another lost tooth!

And Rachel was feeling left out so we took a picture of her beautiful teeth too.
Sarah is our first baby to do this.  She looooves to suck on her toes.
They've been very into gymnastic type playing like this, flipping upside down on my treadmill bar, hanging on things, and summersaults.  I see a tumbling class in their near future.
A new baby wrap I made for Sarah and I.  It's Sarah's favorite place to be in the whole world.
Chocolate chip whole wheat zucchini bread. Mmm.
We got to go to my Grandparent's house and help them pick some yellow plums and made some jam!  The girls were my big helpers.
It was my first time making jam and it actually turned out great!

I forgot to mention this but all these homemade foods and stuff are things that I have been selling to help earn money for a family trip.  We decided it would be a good way to help the girls learn some new skills and about money and tithing.

3 kinds of whole wheat bread
 Apple and strawberry rhubarb pies
Sarah's cozy sleeping position on the couch.
 Buds.
After 4 days of not picking anything from our garden.  Only 4.  Crazy.
 Grandma Russell came to visit!!

Hanging out on Grandma's bed.
We took the frontrunner train from Provo to Lehi (Thanksgiving Point) which was awesome! We all loved the train ride.

Thanksgiving Point was a blast.  The girls loved seeing all the animals.

 And riding them.

 And sleeping.
Food production room.

 Wagon ride.

 I love my Mom :)

 Where these girls belong sometimes.

Lunchtime.
Ice Cream Time!
Nap Time.

 Pool time at Seven Peaks!

Poor little icicle.

Practicing our letters.  This chalkboard is amazing for teaching the girls their letters and words.  Thank you Aunt Michelle!
We had so much fun with Grandma we wore them out.

 Backyard fun with Shizzie.

We also got to spend a lot of time with Great Grandma and Grandpa Hebbert which was a lot of fun.

 Hiking to Bridalveil Falls.

And then to the Provo river to let Shiz go swimming.

Anne and her great Aunt Diana.  I think these two are kindred spirits.
As always lot of fun music at the Hebbert house :)

 Sunday cuteness.

 Library.
Looks like we'll have another cute little blue eyes like her big sis.
 At the park.

 Twins.  Zac and Zacellina :)

Anne's first experience with cotton candy.  She was a fan.
Cool leaf bug on our back door.
Having fun on Great Uncle Lee's swing.  It's the same swing my brother and I would play on when we were kids visiting Grandma Russell.
 Cougar Kickoff.  Go BYU!

Rachel with the new BYU quarterback Taysom Hill.  Here's hoping for a better season this year!
The girls' favorite part of the night, the race! They did this race 5 times straight.  The only reason they stopped was because they were in need of a potty break and it was time to go.

Wowzers.
 Our fun purple carrots.
A frequent dish this summer: zucchini soup and quesadillas made with homegrown tomatoes.

Rachel's favorite pastime these days.  She is a master puzzle builder and can put this one together in less than five minutes all by herself.

My training schedule for a triathlon I'm doing on Aug. 31st.
We got to participate in a temple to temple run on Pioneer Day.  It went from the Provo temple to the site of the City Center temple downtown.  And yes I pushed all three girls in the stroller the whole 3 miles.  Hardest 5k I've ever run in my life.
Pioneer Day celebration at North Park.  Not that spiderman is very pioneer-ish, but he was there nonetheless.

The older girls got to ride in "Daddy's Jeep" all the way to SL for a Hebbert Reunion.  They were thrilled.

 The Laundry Monster Mom
Done by Anne herself.  It's so cool watching her learn to read and write.

This takes some explaining.  We had a family home evening on pioneers.  So as a game we used the girls' new bow and arrows and went "hunting" some bears in the driveway.

None of us could get one of the elusive bears until Grandma got up on her first try and got one right in the head.  Go Grandma!
