Updated Pics

Annie with Great-Grandma Hebbert. Once again she was on her best behavior and gave her a nice big smile.
She's all ready for football season with Dad.

Her first walk around the block.
Eyes open!
Big feet.

Dad was sweet and got Mama these beautiful roses for our three year anniversary on the 23rd. Much different celebration and feeling this year. Very special. I have the greatest husband in the world. :)

Her second bath went much better than the first. She didn't cry at all! She looked scared and a little cold, but afterwards she looked so cute in her little blanket towel that Grandma Russell made her.
Mama and Annie on their first day back to church. Thanks to Great-Aunt Rhonda for the very cute outfit!

Grandma's camera

These may seem like a step back in time but we wanted to show a little more. We now have the pictures from Juanita (Ilene's mom) so we decided to post these. I was too busy trying to take care of Ilene to take pictures. This first picture shows contractions and the baby's heart rate. Heart rate is on the top hanging out at a good 150 range.
This is Anne's first picture. There was a little worry about getting her lungs cleaned out so this is a mix of oxygen tubes and suction.
Anne getting weighed. Can you see where all our cone head comments came from? Luckily the swelling has gone down and she looks normal. Thought she was going to have a hard time dating at first.
Anne's first trip to the doctor. She's allready taking it better than Grandpa Russell. (she didn't freak out or cry at all)
This is Anne just lookin' cute.

I'm this many days old.

We're working on counting. Dad's helping Anne show how many days old she is.
Grandma Russell is happy to be here.
After all that hard work from eating Anne just plopped down like so.

getting a good sleeping position just requires getting the hands just so....

Day 2 update

Being new parents we are picture crazy ... this is Anne sleeping on my chest ... anyone that has seen me sleep knows I sleep on my arm too when I'm on my chest. she lifted her head up and put her arm under without my help.
When I sleep on my back I also put my arm over my head. I wonder how many of these things are genetic.
This is just a cute pic of her sleeping.
This is mom taking a little nap. 21 hours a labor must take a little out of you. I just watched ... A much better seat in my opinion.

New Family member

After a long and a hard night of labor, Ilene gave birth to our little girl. She comes in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. She is 21 inches long and has a head full of light brown hair. Ilene and baby are both doing great. Ilene is getting some much needed sleep after doing a great job in getting our little girl here. Anne Ellyn Thatcher (after a bath)
