Yay for Family!

The Thatchers have been pretty busy these past few weeks with lots of family visits! As you saw in our last post, Aunt Dawn was the first. Followed by Aunt Rhonda then Grandpa Roger then Grandma and Grandpa Russell! We've had so much fun being with our loved ones and we hope they had a fun time too! :) We also have had some other exciting things going on with the Thatcher clan including........

Sike...this is me two years ago.....
Sike again, this is me now! We are very blessed and very excited for our next baby which is due to arrive November 12th or 5th (we might have to induce early so this one's shoulders don't get stuck like Anne's). We find out next month if it's a he-Thatcher or a she-Thatcher, but either way we're excited for this fall. (Is it just me or does anyone else think I'm carrying this baby lower?)

We hope Anne will be as happy about a new little one as we are. I think if we just tell her it's a puppy she'll like it :) Just kidding, we think she'll be a great big sister, it's just going to take some getting used to. Pretty blue eyes just like her Daddy.

She loves to play in the hampers when I'm doing laundry.
And has recently had a thing for my blush brush and other makeup items...such a girl :) She'll even brush my cheeks and Daddy's :)

Anne had a ball with Grandma and Grandpa Russell. She made buddies with Granpa when he let her use his "puter" as she calls it. We are so proud of our shy little girl making so much progress.

Aunt Rhonda got some great shots of Dad and Anne at the zoo.
Aunt Dawn and Anne on the merry go round at the zoo.

Anne has turned into quite the little Daddy's girl lately. She gets so excited whenever she sees him and prefers to be in his arms. Mom is okay with that especially with my growing tummy.
We had a lot of fun with Aunt Rhonda while she was visiting :)
And with Grandpa Roger! The family resemblance in those three is great ;)
We went to Gunnies which is a gun/western store and Anne and I had fun trying on western apparel while the men looked at guns. Our cowgirl is quite the cutie. She didn't want me to take this hat off of her. I actually ended up getting one and she doesn't let me wear it much because she wants to wear it. Definitely born in Utah :)

Her other new favorite toy are the jeeps. We and our neighbors own jeeps and she now can pick out any model of jeep and says "sheeshee" which apparently to her means jeep. Uncle Loren should be proud, hehe.
Anne enjoyed playing ball with Grandpa Roger.
And piano with Grandma Russell.

Anne's first time on a trampoline.

While out shopping with Grandma Russell Anne got a new little shopping bad from Subway.

Auntie Dawn!

We had a great time visiting with Aunt Dawn! We wish it could've been longer, but we had so much fun with the time we had. Anne is really breaking out of her shell. She liked playing with Dawn and even let her hold her. Sometimes she still preferred Mom or Dad, but I think she made a new buddy :)
Dawn took lots of fun photos which I borrowed off of her facebook site, thanks!

Dawn gave Anne her favorite thing in the whole world, a puppy! She carried it around everywhere and gave it lots of love. She also gave her some stylin' new clothes :)

Anne loves this game!

We were glad that we had at least one day that wasn't cold and snowy. So we went to the zoo! Anne loved all the animals (even though half of them weren't on display yet).

So one morning I gave Anne a very soft pear and was curious how she would eat it. I was doing the dishes so I was a little distracted. When I turned around this is what I found left of the pear. I guess she didn't mind the seeds and core.
Another one of Anne's favorite things.."puter" as she calls it. We let her play her alphabet and numbers games sometimes.
Our good friends and neighbors Ryley and Mandi graduated and moved :( so we threw them a going away BBQ. We miss you guys! Here's the Dads playing with the youngins.
And the Moms relaxing :)
Good grub.
Anne is starting to get much more explorative. She likes to hide things and get into cupboards. One day I found this...is it bad that my first reaction was laughter? Then I had her help me clean it up.
Anne's new favorite food. She ate the entire thing.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day. It started off perfectly with some snuggle time with Anne in bed while Zac finished making me a very yummy breakfast. I think Anne knew it was Mother's Day cause she snuggled and gave me lots of hugs and kisses while I sang to her. Zac and Anne also gave me a gift card to Motherhood Maternity which I'm verrry excited to go spend! We then had a wonderful day in Church followed by a wonderful chicken bruschetta dinner prepared by my handsome chef hubby. :) Thanks for a wonderful day Zac and Anne!
