Y, J, G, L, K, B

You're probably wondering what the heck the title of this post means so we'll start with Y. We decided to hike the Y again and this time we made it! We put Anne is a carrier which was much easier. It's still a heck of a hike, but we had a lot of fun doing it. :)
Daddy carried Anne on the way up and Mom had her on the way down. About 10 steps down the trail she fell asleep. I guess she was comfy :)

J: My sister Jennifer came to visit! So the following pictures are courtesy of her.

Well...I actually took this one..

Anne loves her Daddy.

We had a Rock Band night. Anne actually liked it this time because Auntie Jennifer was able to entertain her...and she loved eating the microphone.

G, K, L: A visit to the Great-Grandparents. The two cuties sitting with us are my nieces Lucy and Katie.

K, B: Mother's Day. I had a wonderful Mother's Day that started off with a yummy breakfast in bed provided by my awesome hubby followed by some potted flowers (much more practical), a new stylish T (in the picture), and a beautiful card made by Zac and Anne. We had a special day at church where Anne gave me my present of falling asleep all through Relief Society so I could actually stay in the room and hear the lesson :) We capped off the night with a dinner at Kenric and Becky's house! We are so excited to have Kenric's family back here in Provo and look forward to a fun couple years together :)

A day at the park. Anne absolutely loves the swings though you might not be able to tell from this picture.

That's better :)The new Mamas. (My friend Hayley and her baby Ellie)

We had a fun visit to the aqarium in Salt Lake. Anne loved watching the fish and didn't understand why she couldn't touch them, darn glass.

They have a cool tank where you can reach in and actually touch the rays! When Anne's older she'll get a kick out of it. I didn't want to accidently drop her in so we just watched.

I think the gift shop was one of her favorite parts (oh no for the future :) She loved the stuffed animals. We've observed lately that she talks to her stuffed animals more than humans, hmmmm.
I think this is one of my new favorite pictures of our little cutie, fuzz hair and all.

The slick look.

We love them sunglasses.

A video of us at the top of our hike to the Y.

Anne is learning new skills every day. She amazes us. This is her with her favorite toy. She's learned how to pick up the balls, pick up two and bang them together, and also how to put them in the machine. Apparently she only likes to show this to Dad cause this is all I could catch of her doing it.

Anne is a little talker. She's experimenting with new sounds and letters all the time. "B" is her favorite as you will see in these videos. We think she says "ba" whenever she wants an object, especially bread (which is now her absolute favorite food). She staring at the alphabet game we're playing on the computer. It's cute to see how she's learning to mimick the sounds.

New hair and warm weather

So Anne's hair is getting long enough that we are starting to experiment with different hair styles. I thought this one would look boyish, but in a dress she looks absolutely adorable.

So the other night we were all laying on our bed reading stories to Anne and I looked over and she was out. It was hilarious.

Anne enjoys drinking out of her sippy cups but prefers when I unscrew the lid so she can drink right out of the cup like Mommy. :)
Per request of her Aunty here is a shot of her teeth. They look smaller here than they really are and they get bigger every day. Luckily for me she is not a biter.
Such a ham.
She now wants whatever food we are eating and is trying new foods all the time. Here she is munching on a cucumber I was eating.
I was so excited that it was warm outside today that I built a pool....well a wading pool anyways in our backyard. I forgot to get a picture of it but it was simply some 2x4's and a tarp. Our friends came to join us for our first pool party of the season!
Anne looked adorable in her little swimsuit. (I tried on her 12 mo suit and it didn't fit, this one is 18 mo!)
Another new hair style, inspired by her Uncle Loren :)

Me and my girl having fun.
Our first argument.
Just funny. I don't know why she would hold them up to her forehead. I just think in her head she's saying "By the power of grayskull!" (for those of you in my generation who understood that :)
And last of all, here's Anne's new noise she likes to make when she wants food. We just want her to learn how to do it to us, rather than just her food. :)
